ESPN Stephen A. Smith said Nigga!!

To one of the greatest writers, sports talkers, and sports personalities Stephen A. Smith. We all saw the video you used the word Nigga. Matter of fact I have additional footage from you calling LeBron James Nigga and yes, like Jay-Z I will continue to type the word Nigga.

Now let's get to the real issue the apology. I understand apologizing for the usage of the word but denying that you said it is well kind of funny.  Instead of taking the time to show the difference between the two "N" words and clarifying the definition of Nigga compared to the definition of the "N" word. Stephen A. missed a moment to educate the general population on the usage of the word. This could have been a monumental moment to get us pass the bridge of racism and pass on some facts.

Fact #1 Nigger is never ever ever appropriate I don't care if you are yellow, purple, green, brown, black or white. I don't care about your religious preference of cultural background usage of the "N" word is complete ignorance. Most importantly the word is used to degrade African American and people of color in the United States and around the world. The true definition of the word can be used as a negative term toward anyone of race color or ethnic back because it means "ignorant".

Fact #2 Nigga is a word sometimes ignorantly used between African Americans living in America. Often times behind closed doors the word is meant as a friendly gesture toward another in the African American community. It is not appropriate to use the word in a workplace or in a public social environment, similar to Caucasians using the word Redneck. Personally you will never hear me call someone a Redneck its not okay  for my cultural setting. If some Americans choose to use the word it is okay but let's not act like their are not imaginary cultural lines when it comes down to word usage and I am okay with that.

Stephen A. Smith made a wrong judgement using the word on prime television in front of the general public. We are not here to condemn Mr. Smith, or place blame but taking the time to address the issue without giving cultural background for the usage is a missed opportunity. Nigga is not a negative word its a term used behind cultural doors  it's publicly unprofessional and that is where it should remain.

The TRUTH shall set you free America it's time to talk....

New Orleans Saints "Defense" Soft like Betty Crocker

New Orleans Saints 0 - 4 start was not a fluke. Simply put the team has gone through so many issues over the past several months that the Saints are no longer viable in 2012. No Drew Brees is not the "blame" he continues to be one of the best Quarterbacks in NFL history. No I am not criticizing the game plan of the Saints or the toughness of the offense.

Unfortunately the Saints are the only team in the NFL with a tougher "Offensive Line" than a "Defensive Line" the only team where wide receivers Marques Colston and Lance Moore are tougher than the DB's and Safeties. Since "Bounty Gate" the Saints defense has gone undercover, their in hiding, "Wanted", and running away from the law. What has Roger Goodell done to the Saints? No not in terms of players and coaches being suspended but in terms of stealing their heart and toughness. Why are the Saints playing like Betty Crocker cooking Shortbread cookies in the kitchen?

In our NFC playoff prediction preview the Saints were not listed as a playoff team mostly because I feared the Saints schedule was one of the toughest in the NFL. Saints next three games Broncos, Eagles and Falcons its conceivable the Saints lose all  three games. Mostly due to their lack of aggression and hunger on defense.

Much of the preseason talk surrounding the Saints was due to Sean Payton and Drew Brees not controlling the offense together. Payton's absence was suppose to leave a void in the offense as Brees struggled to find the offense with out his head coach. Through the first half of the season up to week 8 Brees is currently the NFL leader in passing yards per game and has dialed in 18TD's.

The criticism by a few Saints fans that Drew Brees is all about his stats or performing in a selfish manner this season is outrageous. Saints fans wake up place the "BLAME" put the "FAULTS" on the shoulders of the defense. Through darts at the fact Mark Ingram has failed to become a #1 running back option. Without improvement the Saints will not make the playoffs but with a glimpse of 2009 and a few Brees miracles and the Saints can also turn this season around.
